Frequently Asked Questions
1)Where can I buy your products from?
You can buy our products directly from our website or please click on the ‘find your store’ button to look for your nearest store.
If you are outside of Norway, please send us an inquiry, we deliver to most locations in Europe.
2)What is delivery time for orders?
We always have 95% of our products in stock. Delivery time is 2-4 working days (within Norway). Please email us for delivery times outside of Norway.
3) How would I know if the product I would like to order is in stock?
If the product shows on the website, this means they are in stock. Out of stock products are automatically taken out of the website or there will be a ‘sold out’ sign visible.
4)Do I need to buy a drain from you or can I buy drains from other brands?
Our drain hole size is standard, you are free to purchase a drain form other brands but please do note that the base of our washbasins maybe thicker then regular porceline/ceramic washbasins, for this reason, our pop-up drain is slightly longer then the regular (so it Is able to stretch out through the bottom of your vanity top). Check the total length of the drain you require before proceeding to make a purchase.
5)Will the colour of the product I receive vary from what I see online?
Yes this can happen. There are a few points to take note
- a) Washbasins such as Bali Natu, Bali Lap, Pedes, Nobi, Mory – these stone can vary more then others, they are unique stones and every block could have a vast difference in colours and stone characteristics. We try to make this clearer, please refer to ‘mer viktig info’ link on the product page.
- b) Stones such as marbles and limestone – the grey/brown tones and variations that you see on pictures in these stones are not as large as a) but the slight textures can vary from block to block. No one block will produce the same variation, some may look very similar and others may have some variation. Having said this, do know that this is not a bad thing – it is the beauty of nature, a story each piece has, unique in itself.
- C) Stones like granite and basalt – these blocks have lesser variation in colours.
6) Can you send pictures of the item I would like to buy before I proceed with purchase?
Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to send pictures for each purchase. We try our best to provide you with as much information possible so you can make your decision to proceed. We also take request for some items. Eg. Bali Natu/Bali Lap/Pedes. If you would 2 pieces that should stand on the same bench top (we try our best o find 2 pieces will stand well together). Please do not order the washbasin assuming that you could return it for no charge, do read our return policy here
Note: Purchases of any natural items (stone or wood) will have variation from the sample or picture you see. Eg. kitchen stone tops, tiles, wood flooring. If it is real wood and real stone – you should be ready for the variation that nature provides you with.
7)Do I need to impregnate my stone washbasin often?
Our washbasins are ready impregnated from the factory, but this does not last forever. How long impregnation last depends on what kind of products are used for cleaning, frequency of usage and the type impregnator used. Having said that, some hard stones, example granitt, larvikite, basalt do not require very frequent impregnation. Some may choose to not impregnate at all (Impregnating is not a must for some harder stone types, but impregnating makes daily cleaning easier). Stones that are more porous, eg. sandstone, if not impregnated will absorb water but they dry out looking back to normal again. One of the purpose of impregnation is to prevent stains/coloured liquids to be absorbed and permanently staining your washbasin. If your usage is just water with mild detergents/toothpastes, the product can be impregnated less often. Overtime you get to know your stone like it is a living object and decide what you prefer. You can read more about the kind of impregnation products are offered under maintenance.
8) Can we return the products?
Please take a look at our return policy. We do charge a return fee + freight cost.
We normally check each piece before it is send out to you, all item are in good working condition when they are sent out.
9) Do you have technical drawing (CAD) for your washbasin?
We provide a selection of images for each product, one of this is usually a technical drawing. Scroll through the images and you should find the technical drawing image.
Washbasins such as Bali Natu, Bali Lap, Pedes – do not have technical drawings, this is due to that each piece is uniquely shaped. It is not possible for us to have technical drawings for each piece. If we are missing a drawing for any of the other items, please do send us an email for this.
10) What is the correct size of the hole on my vanity top?
The drain holes size for all our washbasins are standard /universal. The hole you make on your vanity top, can be made the same as if it was any other washbasin in the same size. Your plumber should be able to advise regarding this. Take note the size of the base of the washbasin, make sure it is fully covering the hole that is made (or if the top is bought with a ready made hole).
11) Do you custom make products?
We can take special orders, the order needs to be at 15 pieces or more. This works mainly for projects. Delivery time in this case would take 3-4 months.
Nature has its own beauty.
We offer you something different, something that is made from nature and environmentally sustainable. Our washbasins are made from 100% natural stone.
Every block/boulder of stone is unique, every piece of stone basin that is made is unique.
For some items like Bali Natu, Pedes – the variation from piece to piece is larger as they are each made from one unique boulder of stone. For other washbasins that have 1 standard size eg. perfectly round/square washbasins – the size will be the same but the textures/patterns within the stone is unique. Some stones have more variation then others.
Before you order a 100% stone washbasins, please do remember to be open to the uniqueness of nature and accept its beauty just the way it is.
